Enabling you to legally and safely hold a fire door in the open position, the Hardwired Acoustic Door Holder will then release the door as soon as your fire alarm is activated. Using magnetic technology, you install the main unit to a wall, bracket, or another solid surface, with plate screwed onto the door. Connected to a suitable fire alarm system, when a potential fire is detected, the power to the magnetic door holder is cut, allowing the fire door to release and shut quickly with zero residual force. Suitable for installing on a new or existing door, it has a manual release button enabling you to shut the door without activating the alarm. CE marked and conforming to EN1155, the acoustic door holder is ideal for schools, hospitals and care homes where ease of access is essential with 200 Newton holding force. It has IP51 protection and knockouts which enable cable entry through the back or side. Suitable for use with a door closure, the Doormouse door holder is available with a 24DC supply voltage. |
