A2 Heat Detector

The standard type A2 60°C Fixed Temperature Heat Detector is unaffected by smoke, dust, steam and fumes as it activates at temperatures between 54°C and 65°C rather than taking a reading of the environment. As they are unaffected by rapid temperature fluctuations, this heat detector is perfect for boiler rooms and kitchens providing a reliable alarm system when installed along with smoke detectors where suitable.

With two ultra-bright LED indicating strips, on either side of the detector unit, it is able to provide 360° visibility so they can be seen from any entrance to a room. Part of C-TEC’s ActiV range of detectors which are produced in the UK, the heat detector is EN54-5 certified and IP42 rated and can be installed as part of any conventional fire alarm system.

This needs installing with a suitable detector base (sold separately).
