A1R Heat Detector

This Rate of Rise Heat Detector offers you the earliest possible warning to a potential fire by using two methods of thermally detecting a fire. As a result, the fire alarm will then be activated when it detects a sudden rise in temperature, or when it’s at a static temperature of between 54°C and 65°C. And, unlike an ordinary smoke alarm, this will be unaffected by environmental factors including steam, dust and fumes.

With two ultra-bright LED indicating strips, on either side of the detector unit, it is able to provide 360° visibility so they can be seen from any entrance to a room. Part of C-TEC’s ActiV range of detectors which are produced in the UK, the heat detector is EN54-5 certified and IP42 rated and can be installed as part of any conventional fire alarm system.

This needs installing with a suitable detector base (sold separately).
