The Acoustic Battery Operated Door Holder allows you to hold open a door, without blocking or wedging it open, so it can automatically shut in the event of a fire. Easy to install and set-up thanks to its use of wireless technology, this will recognise the sound of your specific fire alarm to reduce the chance of false activations. Suitable for installation on new and existing doors, the magnetic base fits to an adjacent wall, bracket or another solid surface, with the magnetic plated fitted to the door. Powered by two C-type batteries, it features a low battery warning and manual override, plus an LED display. And with the daily timed release option, you can programme it to shut at a set time, which is ideal for ensuring doors are closed overnight. Compliant with EN1155 and CE marked, the magnet door holder has a 200 Newton holding force making it ideal for doors of up to 100kg and 1250mm wide. Perfect for schools, care homes and hospitals to provide access, it should be used with a suitable door closer and is available in a choice of colours. |
