24V 3A EN54-4 Power Supply Unit

The 24V 3A power supply unit (PSU) from C-TEC offers a reliable, safe, and eco-friendly solution for directly powering auxiliary fire alarm equipment. These range from beam detectors to sounder systems, aspirating smoke detectors, Automatic Opening Vent (AOV) systems, auto-dial communicators, and any third-party devices that fulfil a mandatory function of your fire alarm system.

The switch mode BF562-3 PSU is VDS approved to EN54-4 regulations, and IP30 rated for use indoors. It features a durable metal container that works to protect the electronics plus an eco-friendly charging circuit which dissipates only 0.35W as opposed to the industry norm of 2.55W.

Three LED lights – green, amber, and red – serve to indicate the various phases of the PSU – supply present, general fault, and auxiliary fault, so ensuring compliant reporting of battery impedance faults. The BF562-3 PSU from C-TEC also has a single-pole volt-free changeover relay that switches for any fault condition.

The 24V 3A PSU can be purchased with SLA batteries for cases where ensuring you have a backup power supply is a necessity. It can take a maximum of two 12V 18Ah SLA batteries. Plus, its deep discharge protection and link selectable charging capacity help to promote the life of the battery.
