Fire Door and Window Fire Stopping

Fire doors and windows are only effective if they have a complete airtight seal, and even the slightest gap that allows air through can compromise the seal. So, our range of fire door and window fire stopping products are suitable to retrofit any existing doors and windows, as well as fittings in new buildings.

If your office door has a letterbox, allow those important letters in but fire out with our intumescent letterbox system, which self-seals in the event of a fire. Prevent smoke from creeping under any door with a smoke-rated bottom door seal, either mounted underneath or retrofitted to the outer surface.

For doors, the weak point where tiny gaps can remain unnoticed are the areas a round the hinges and locks. Our special fire protection pack contains intumescent pass to fit any hinge or lock and door closer.

For windows, the weak point is the join between the window and your fire resistant glass. Seal in the glass with our intumescent glazing tape, and the tape will expand in the event of a fire and hold guard for up to 30 minutes. Or, set the glass in our glazing U channel which both grips the glass and provides up to 30 minutes fire rating.

And finally, don't forget that little hole in your door - the door viewer. Our fire rated door viewers provide a clear view for you but no way in for fire for up to 60 minutes.
